The one day seminars are held at the Rose and Crown in Tring and prices start at £50 for the day which includes all the wines and coffee. Lunch can also be provided by the hotel if required (extra).
These seminars will take an indepth look at a wine region, its history, climate, viticulture and viniculture and of course a tasting of the wines. The course is ideal for everyone who loves wine and interested and wish to broaden their knowledge in a structured way. |

Each of the 10 week courses are held in Berkhamsted and other Hertfordshire towns and we aim to provide a relaxed way of learning about wines of the world, through tasting and study using the WSET study books and also with visits regularly planned to vineyards both in England and Europe.
We hope you will join our courses and enjoy learning about wine and developing your taste in wine. |

| ´I have been going to the wine classes on Monday evenings for over a year now. I like Mike’s informal style of teaching and the classes are friendly and fun as well as informative. We had a great time on our long weekend away in Portugal in October visiting a mix of vineyards in the Alentejo region and sampling various delicious Portuguese wines and enjoying the tasty local food. I highly recommend the classes.´ Judy Ewart |

| ´I have participated in the Berkhamsted wine classes, run by Michael Eggleton, for a number of years and found them to be a great introduction to wine appreciation as well as a great opportunity to meet like minded people, from the local area, that enjoy wine. The classes are both educational and real fun, catering for professional interest & personal learning aspiration. They offer the wine novice the opportunity to widen their experience of wine tasting and build a personal knowledge of wines that that they really like. It also caters for professional development opportunities up to advanced level WSET qualifications. Michael sets the tone in the class with a relaxed manner and a great sense of humour, bring his extensive wine knowledge out for all to benefit from. If you want to know more about what you like to drink, this is a good way to learn!´ John Boakes |

´I´ve been regularly attending Mike´s evening wine classes for over two years now. The lessons are tremendous fun with a very friendly, relaxed atmosphere in which I´ve learnt a huge amount about wines of the world. Mike´s knowledge of wine is staggering and his easy going style makes him a fantastic tutor. I highly recommend these classes to anyone wishing they knew more about what they are pouring into their glass.´ Patrick Stileman

´A great place to learn about wines of the world in a friendly, unpretentious and informal manner. The added bonus is it is one of the few WSET accredited courses outside of London.´ Mike
